Coach Jeremy Bialek
Coach Bialek enters his eighteenth season directing the boys varsity. In those years the Wildcats have won five ICBA state titles (including the last four straight), claimed six conference championships (also winning the last four in-a-row), won a Midwest Regional crown, made four national Elite 8 appearances, and advanced to a national Final 4. Six of his Cats have been named NCHBC 1st Team All-Americans and seven have gone on to play in college.
Jeremy began his career at Perry Meridian High School as a varsity assistant and later as the junior varsity coach. In his five years at Perry, the Falcons won a sectional title and finished Marion County runners-up twice. Perry's Andre Owens went on to play for the NBA's Utah Jazz and Indiana Pacers. A total of ten Falcon players continued playing in college - four of them at Division 1 schools, including two at Indiana University.
Jeremy spent his high school days at Christian Brothers Academy, earning varsity letters in cross-country, track, and basketball (winning one sectional basketball title). Bialek attended Butler University and graduated with a B.S. in Telecommunication Arts. A few years later, he completed an M.S. in Media Management at Syracuse University's Newhouse School. Bialek lives in Indianapolis and serves as pastor at Cross Church. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Julie, and nine kids (Ali, Jair, JD, Jonah, Annalisa, Jordan, Jacob, Judah, and Josiah). His hobbies include basketball, golfing, and reading.
